Of all of LA's celeb hangouts, the bar at the Mondrian Hotel is probably the most infamous. (Britney Spears and Jesse Metcalfe both went on weekend benders here before checking into rehab.) In its heyday, getting into the Skybar was like a rite of passage, but unless they looked like a supermodel or were rolling with Leonardo DiCaprio, there was no way they'd get in much less get to lounge on the poolside bed that overlooks the city. The door policy has since mellowed, though we must warn you: Thursdays are still a tough night to get in.
