Vine-Say goodbye to fondue, and hello to a full liquor license: Like any decent Hollywood resident, Vine Bar is now only concerned with food that can be consumed with a straw (and the occasional twist of lime). In with the black chandeliers, swanky mirrors and darker, sexier 'tude. In with the flat-screen TVs and just-private-enough booths. Outtie 500 with the Hollywood hipsters too worried about how their skinny jeans fit to dance like their rock star idols.

The Viper Room-The house that Johnny Depp built. Much smaller than you'd expect, this shady little spot on Sunset is a VIP mecca, where industry showcases and private parties are the rule. The diminuitive size makes it a tight squeeze, but party people still find a way to dance and get live (watch out for falling high-heeled models teetering on tabletops). Dark and kind of sleazy, the Viper Room is everything you'd expect (and sometimes dread) from a night on the Strip.

Whiskey Blue-This lounge inside the W Hotel may be located on UCLA's sorority row, but there's nothing "college" about this swank lounge owned by Cindy Crawford's husband Rande Gerber. The European decor is as achingly chic as the martini-sipping patrons thankful that Westwood finally has a sophisticated drinking den.
