PMA, a
powerful stimulant cheaper and easier to manufacture than Ecstasy and far
more dangerous, continues to show up among pills sold as Ecstasy. There
have been confirmed PMA deaths in the United States, Australia, Europe,
Canada and various other countries.
Because PMA starts to work 2-3 hours after ingesting, users are likely to
consume more pills containing PMA (thinking it is MDMA) once they feel the
effects are not "as expected".
If your pill does not seem to produce the desired effect (of MDMA), DO NOT
TAKE more pills.
Dangerous effects of PMA include: increase of body temperature, irregular
heartbeat, respiratory problems. If you think you (or one of your friends)
have taken one or more pills containing PMA, go straight to the hospital !
 This
pill with a Superman logo contains PMA. Not all pills with a Superman logo
contain PMA. These pills can contain a variety of drugs in different
doses. This is the case with most pills. A certain logo on a pill is never
a guarantee for a good or a bad pill. For instance, pills with the Snoopy
logo have been analyzed and more than 20 different varieties have been
found. Some contained only MDMA. Some contained MDMA plus MDA and/or MDEA.
Some contained MDA and/or MDEA only. Some contained nothing. Some
contained Speed. Everything in various doses.

Since 1999, many tablets sold as Ecstasy but actually
containing DXM have been discovered throughout the USA. DXM is a legal cough
suppressant that in high doses can prevent sweating. The danger which DXM
poses, in particular, is specifically the effect it has when mixed with
Ecstasy (MDMA). When taken on its own, DXM, according to various reports
have several different plateaus, varying from mild intoxication to full
blown, out-of-body, ketamine-like experiences. The danger comes when people
think they've bought a dud pill (but actually containing DXM), so buy
another (real) one. DXM and MDMA are "contraindicated", meaning mixing them
is potentially fatal.
